Employees enter time using the Time Entry application. Once timesheets are submitted and approved, they are delivered to the Timesheet Inbox for Payroll processing.
The Time Entry functionality in NAV enables the setup of users for time entry over Employee Center and allows for the definition of the applicable time entry activities.
NOTE: The time entry fields Time Entry Type, TE Hrs Per Pay Period, and TE Approver drive how Time Entry behaves in Employee Center. These fields are not applicable if the Employee Center Time Entry application is not being used.
