Information

  • Products: Sparkrock 365
  • Summary: Employer contribution codes not printing on employees pay statements

Details

Employer contribution codes like employer portion RRSP, Health Benefits, Taxable benefits should be printing on pay statements if they were setup this way when Sparkrock 365 was implemented. The steps under the Resolution section will ensure they are enable/added

Reproduction steps

As an employee login to Mysparkrock account

  1. Click on My Self Service
  2. Select Pay Statements
  3. Open recent pay statement and check for any employer contribution codes.

Resolution

In Sparkrock 365 there is no action option to select Print in Check as Nav 2016 on payroll control card.

1) For employer contributions to show on the check stub the option of Display Employer Contribution in the General tab of the Payroll Setup must be selected (Screenshot 1).

Go to the Payroll Setup, make sure Display Employer Contribution is ON

2) You can define which Payroll Codes show by assigning them to different Benefit Categories.  You will need to create the Benefit Categories  Benefit Categories

3) Then assign this benefit Category to each individual payroll Code.  It is located on the Benefit Setup section.  You may have to hit the Show More on the right-hand side

Note: You can also create Benefit Categories as described above and assign them to employer contribution codes accordingly.
