Details
Each jurisdiction establishes a general minimum wage. In some cases, separate rates for certain types of workers will apply. Most jurisdictions have a legislative policy of reviewing the minimum wage rate annually and adjusting it based on the current rate of inflation or the Consumer Price Index.
