- Summary: Find batch approved entries in the Posted Approval Entries
Details
When searching for approval entries, you would normally go to the general ledger entries and select approvals on the menu. However, this process does not work on entries that are included in a batch. You might find the approval entries window blank.
Resolution
- Go to the specific document and find the entry.
- Click on the question mark on the upper right corner of the page. Click on Help & Support and in the Troubleshooting Tab, select Inspect Pages and data. (You can also use shortcut ctrl+alt+F1)
- The page inspection pane will come out.
- Scroll through the table fields and take note of the USER ID and SystemModifiedAt
User ID = Sender ID in the Posted Approval Entries Page
SystemModifiedAt = Date-Time Sent for Approval in the Posted Approval Entries Page
- Go to Posted Approval Entries Page.
- Add filters Sender ID and Date-Time Sent for Approval.
- The filters will now populate the lines.
- To validate the entry, select the line and click “record” in the menu.
- The GL registers window will open, Click Process and select General Ledger.
- The ledger entry window will open.
