You are receiving an error message that licenses will expire in X days when launching the Dynamics NAV 2016 Development Environment like the one from the image below:
Action: This error message can be ignored, as this, by default, is validating the Microsoft Demo Environment which is no longer being updated. This error message does not reflect your current license for your organization. Once you ignore this message, you will see that your database opens, and once your database opens you can review your license and see that it will not be expired.
Recommendation: We do not recommend using the Development Environment tool, use the core Dynamics NAV 2016 client to view license information instead. Go to Help > About NAV and click on "View your License Information" you will see your true expiry date, labelled as "Expires <Date>", if any.
NOTE: Microsoft is no longer updating their DEMO license, this is the reason for the error message, and you can safely ignore the prompt.
