Information
- Products: Sparkrock 2016 and 365
- Summary: How to record and share a video with Sparkrock Support team
Details
This document explains two different methods for recording and sharing videos with Sparkrock Support, which can be easier than sharing a step-by-step document.
Resolution
First Method: Recording a scheduled Teams call.
- Schedule a Teams call with the support contact who owns your case. Clarify the meeting is solely to share a video recording, and they can ignore the appointment.
- Start the call and recording, then present and use your microphone to explain the issue, and show the configuration and reproduction steps if applicable.
- Stop the recording and notify the support analyst that the video is available.
Second Method: Utilizing a third-party tool to record video or a step-by-step guide.
- Create a free account in a third-party recording solution, such as Loom or ScribeHow.
- Record your screen and create a shareable link to your video or document.
- Share the link with Sparkrock Support.
Impact / Risks
Keep in mind that some information in Sparkrock 365 is confidential and a video recording should only be shared with Sparkrock Support.
Workaround
If setting up a call with your Support representative achieves the same results, you can ask the Support representative to start the recording and attach the file to the case.
