Unable to receive email notifications from workflow (Notification Entry Dispatcher Issue)

Details

Users are not receiving notification email for workflows, and the setup looks good (workflows are being triggered properly, email test is sending emails). 

However, checking the Job queue entries page and the "Notification Entry Dispatcher" codeunit is showing the error like 'You must specify a valid email account to send the message to."

Resolution

To resolve this issue, navigate the following steps listed below;

- Navigate to the approval user setup page.

- For each user listed, make sure the corresponding email field is specified.

- Restart the job queue Notification Entry Dispatcher.

Impact / Risks

If the email in the approval user setup is not specified for each listed user, an error will trigger in the job queue for notification entry dispatcher saying : 'You must specify a valid email account to send the message to."
