Different error messages may present while trying to run Jet Reports and their solution may not be clear 

 

Resolution  

In case you encounter any of the following error messages, we suggest referring to the Troubleshooting the Dynamics NAV Web Service Data Source article from our partner Jet. This article provides possible solutions with corresponding numeration that may address the issue. However, if the error you're experiencing is not listed, don't hesitate to create a support case with us, and we'll respond promptly to assist you further.

  1. The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. 
  2. Invoking the web service failed 
  3. The remote name could not be resolved 
  4. The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. 
  5. Unable to connect to the remote server. 
  6. The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. 
  7. The Dynamics NAV web service is improperly configured.  A web service server and instance name must be specified and the port number must be between 1 and 65535. 
  8. Company '' does not exist. 
  9. The codeunit '' does not exist. 
  10. The underlying connection was closed:  An unexpected error occurred on a send. 
  11. The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized 
  12. A server was not found at "net.tcp://[servername:port]/[NAV Server Instance]/Service".  Either the URL is incorrect or the server is currently not available. 
  13. Cannot interpret data as a URL
