  • Summary: The delegation of an approval request is directed to the wrong user

 

Details

This issue could occur when the user is set as an Approval Administrator in the system. The Sparkrock team often enables this feature for troubleshooting purposes and therefore an approval request may end up being sent to them when delegated. 

 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps: 

 

  1. In Sparkrock 365, navigate to Approval User Setup 
  2. Find the user to which the request is being delegated 
  3. On the last column, uncheck the Approval Administrator option 
  4. Try delegating the approval request one more time
