Details  

Box 50 on the T4 slip is used to report the Pension Adjustment Reversal (PAR) for Registered Pension Plans (RPPs) and Deferred Profit Sharing Plans (DPSPs) contributions made by employers. 

 

Resolution  

To populate Box 50 with the Pension Registration Number, follow the steps below: 

  1. Navigate to the employee card, then select Related > Employee > Fed. / Province Withholding Setup. 
  1. Enter the number in the RPP or DPSR RegNo field.

Impact / Risks 

When populating Box 50, please ensure that the correct Pension Registration Number is entered. Failure to do so may result in incorrect reporting, which could lead to penalties and amending the T4s.
