Details  

This is a guide on how to upload the Budget Journal Import from excel (account set template) 

Resolution 

1. Go into the budget journal 
2. Select a batch to use for the posting 
3. Download the budget journal import account set import template from here - Budget Journal Account Sets Import (sparkrock365.com) 
4. In the template downloaded, fill in all the information's except for the document no field which should be left blank as shown below; 
5. In the budget journal click on process then import from excel (account set) to import the edited template. 
6. This should upload the data in the excel template and auto-generate the document number accordingly (from the last used no series for the    budget journal) 
7. Click on actions, posting then preview posting to preview the entries 
8. If no errors appear, you can proceed to post. 

Impact / Risks  

If the credit and debit lines for each budget are not entered, the account/transaction will not be balanced, and it will affect the posting.
