The update window in Sparkrock 365 can be customized to a specific time zone, start time, and end time. This helps to ensure that updates are applied during off-hours to minimize disruption.

Resolution

Note: To complete these steps you will need to be an Internal Administrator.

To change the update window in Sparkrock 365:

Navigate to the Environments tab in the Sparkrock 365 administration center and select the environment you want to modify.
Click on the Update Settings action and then choose Set update window.
In the Set update window pane, set the time zone, start time, and end time for the update window. Note that the update window must be a minimum of six hours.
Click Save to apply the changes.

Impact / Risks

No risks are associated with changing the update window. However, it's important to ensure that the update window is set for a minimum of six hours to allow enough time for updates to be applied.
