This article will teach users how to identify and delete a duplicate "vanilla" Business Central, which is a basic version of the software that may be created accidentally. It will provide instructions on how to locate, compare, and delete the duplicate version safely,
Resolution
From Sparkrock 365 as a Global Admin role or a Dynamics 365 Admin role user:
1) Click the settings gear in the top ribbon
2) Click Admin Center to access the Business Central Admin Center
3) If you have two environments listed with the name and type Production, take note of the Application Family to identify which one you use, and which one can be removed. If you do not have two environments with the name and type of Production, do not proceed further.
4) The one with the Application Family of Sparkrock365 is the environment being used, and the environment with the Application Family of Business Central can be removed. Do not remove the environment with the name Production and the Application Family of Sparkrock365.
5) Click on the name of the Production environment with the Application Family of Business Central to view its settings.
6) Verify that the Name of the environment is Production and that the Application Family is Business Central.
7) Click Delete in the top ribbon and follow the prompts to remove the environment.

Deleting a duplicate "vanilla" Business Central instance can have several risks, such as data loss, business disruption, dependency issues, and time-consuming recovery. It's important to ensure the correct duplicate instance is being deleted before proceeding.
