The T4 XML export file process allows users to generate an XML document for T4s in Sparkrock365. This document can be used to fill out T4s on the CRA website, streamlining the process for payroll administrators.

Resolution

Please follow the below steps to download the T4 XML document to submit T4s using the CRA website.

Search for “T4 report” and make sure the Report Layout is USPYCANT4Report.
Set the XML Export option to True.
Select all required fields as explained in 365 T4 Process.
Click Send.

Once you select Send, pick the option for XML Document.

This allows the system to save the file as an XML document so that you can upload the same file on the CRA website.

Impact/Risks

There are no significant risks associated with exporting T4 information as an XML file in Sparkrock 365. However, it is important to ensure that all required fields are selected to ensure accurate T4 reporting.
